MELBOURNE ICE Celebrates 10 Years With Hopes on a Championship 3Peat

MELBOURNE ICE Celebrates 10 Years With Hopes on a Championship 3Peat

It’s our 6th Birthday - Time to blow the trumpet!!

May marks our 6th year in producing 3008Docklands Magazine and it has
been a fabulous journey so far with much more to come on the horizon.

Across these 6 years we have actively assisted in raising the profile of
Docklands, always in a positive and responsible manner to encourage interest and visitation to the precinct and in turn provide economic support to the local businesses and attractions. It has always been integral in our approach that residents and workers of Docklands feel proud of their decision to be based here and are proud of their local magazine.

We have worked closely and cooperatively with the local and state governments to provide accurate and current information and we have built strong connections with our clients and in some cases genuine friendships too.

We have made a name for our publication in Melbourne, allowing 3008Docklands to secure interviews with some of the biggest local and international names across the entertainment, sport, business and government spectrums.

We have taken the Docklands word outside Docklands to our neighbours
with the very successful introduction of rotating monthly inserts (or mini
magazines) facilitating cross promotion and giving clients further reach and
scope to boost business and foot traffic into the precinct. We have even
been nominated for an award!

It’s generally not our 3008 style to blow our own trumpet and proclaim
our achievements; we hope that each issue we release does that for us,
but on our 6th birthday, I thought you wouldn’t mind a little self indulgence,
but let’s cut the trumpets now ….

We are thrilled to feature the Melbourne Ice as our cover story, as they look
toward a championship 3Peat in 2012 with a view to 3 consecutive season wins.

There are heaps of great events at Docklands this month including the
Next Wave Festival, Joe McNally visit and Fair Trade Morning Break.

It was a huge thrill to interview U.K comedian extraordinaire Lenny Henry,
read all about his upcoming one man show, Cradle to Rave as well as Rasta
Thomas bringing Rock the Ballet back to Melbourne – May is set to Rock!

MAY… you have a wonderful month!
