Marine Training Services conducted Coxswain, Master 5, Master 4, MED 3 and MED 2 Courses. The nationally accredited course certificates are recognized in all States and Territories. Established in 1996, Marine Training Services (Vic Goy and Associates Pty Ltd) offers commercial training for people looking for employment in the Marine industry.

Upon successful completion of the course students receive a Certificate of Course Completion, which is valid for 5 years. Participants then apply to Marine Safety Victoria for a Certificate of Competency which upon issue allows them to operate a commercial vessel. Marine Safety Victoria determines the limits imposed on a Certificate.
