July is traditionally a difficult time for the Blood Service. Demand is high, and many regular donors are unable to attend their appointments due to illness.

They need your help to ensure that Southbank Donor Centre, Australia's largest, collects enough blood to keep our supply at a stable level for those who need it during the month.
A complimentary shuttle bus is available for groups of 4-7, so please consider joining with colleagues to donate blood. Your single donation could change the lives of 3 different people.
1 in 3 Australians will receive blood / blood products during their lifetime; currently, only 1 in 30 donates. Platelets, a component of blood, has a shelf life of only 5 days so the need for blood never stops.
