It’s time to rev up your engines and head down to the 2009 Melbourne International Motor Show as it kicks off Australian Automotive Week.

The 2009, 75th Motor Show will feature Australia’s leading vehicle manufacturers and importers presenting their vehicles with early indications of some sensational new models on the horizon. Add to these, displays of the latest in vehicle technology, concept cars and exciting feature attractions and the 2009 Motor Show is an event not to be missed.

From Careers Seminars promoting the wide range of career opportunities in the motor industry to Shannon’s featuring an extensive collection of vintage and classic vehicles to be auctioned on the last day of the Show.

Top automotive marques from Europe, Asia and Australia have confirmed their participation at the show with Porsche, Lamborghini, Lotus and Bentley heading the list of high performance and top-end luxury marques. Prestige European brands including Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, Renault, Skoda and a strong German contingent comprising Audi, BMW and Volkswagen will be showcased. Of course, Ford, Holden and Toyota will represent the local industry.

The ever-growing contingent of Asian cars, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu Ute, Kia, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru and Suzuki will be displayed to the approximately 200,000 dedicated car enthusiasts and prospective car buyers expected to attend the event.
