Jamie Oliver has spent the past ten years working his craft to become an overnight sensation.
Together with the funky Wonderbrass, the support band for the tour, Jamie demonstrated his musical prowess on the drums whilst simultaneously cooking the first dish of the night. Jamie’s level of enthusiasm
and passion is clear, although how he manages to maintain his amazing energy level for the duration of the interactive two hour show is astonishing. A select few audience members were lucky enough to make it on
stage throughout the evening, and were duly rewarded with a taste of the finished dishes and a selection from the gift trolley.
Despite the celebrity chef tag, Jamie possesses a casual and down to earth personality has helped win over the fans. A look back at some of Jamie’s favourite projects, including the ‘Ministry of Food’ and his new series from the US, featuring Huntington, West Virginia – the unhealthiest town in America reminds you of the affirmative message central in Jamie’s endeavours.
Jamie capped off an entertaining evening by cooking a lamb curry whilst performing a spicy reggae tune appropriately named ‘lamb curry, give it to me hot’.
