J.C. Street Real Estate – Putting REAL People Back into Real Estate

J.C. Street Real Estate – Putting REAL People Back into Real Estate

Sister’s Cheryle and Julie Street are J.C. Street Real Estate. These vivacious, but down to earth ladies spoke to 3008 about their commitment to their clients and the Docklands area about which they are passionate. When it comes to real estate agents, J.C. Street certainly prove that not all agents are the same.

Why did you decide to get into real estate and why base your business in Docklands?

(Cheryle) My passion to become a real estate agent was forged out of frustration from my own dealings in purchasing property. It was an easy decision for me to become a real estate agent as I felt I could make a difference and of course I love property and have renovated eight of
my own homes.

(Julie) I have always been passionate about people and property and felt there was a need for more female real estate agents, as I believe we are more patient and listen to others just that little bit more. I also work as a buyer’s advocate for our clients, looking on their behalf and using our network of trusted connections. We are always on the lookout for new properties for buyers.

(Cheryle) As for Docklands, I sold much of the NewQuay development 10 years ago and have been working in the Docklands ever since. I also live here; I know it and I love being here.

What has been the key to your success?

(Julie) Our philosophy is to build long standing business associations with our clients. Our clients know they can trust and rely on us to act in their best interests. Our ethics are our integrity. We are not all about the sale; we are passionate about really helping people to find what they are looking for.

There is quite a concentration of real estate agents in Docklands, how rife is the competition?

(Cheryle) At the end of the day, it is ultimately a matter for the client to decide which agent they wish to deal with. We are extremely proud of the fact that our business is growing steadily, largely, through word of mouth. Your reputation and integrity ultimately speaks volumes.

I have heard many complimentary things about you both personally, in particular your charity work, can you elaborate?

(Julie) One of the driving forces behind our business is to be able to improve the lives of Street kids. We are not about making money to drive flashy cars; we are passionate about succeeding to enable us to share our good fortune to help others.

(Cheryle) I lost my little girl Lauren to childhood cancer at the age of 10 and if there is one thing in business that I want to achieve, it is to continue to help fund the fight against cancer by sharing my experience with other parents and contributing financially to the great medical and scientific cause against cancer.

What areas of real estate do you specialise in?

(C) We are a ‘one stop shop’ for real estate! We have expertise in buying and selling property, leasing, property presentation, new and ‘off the plan’ developments and interior decorating.

Our motto is “Your happiness is our future” and we believe it!
