The Docklands Community Association held its Annual General Meeting on July 15 at the Bovis Lend Lease premises in Victoria Harbour in a room they kindly provided for the purpose.

The Office Bearers elected for 2010-11 are:
President: Roger Gardner
Vice President: Allen Hartley [new]

Treasurer: Jessie Xin Xu

General Assistance: Jenny Mills [new]
General Assistance: Jeff Slabe [new]

The meeting, attended by some 50 residents, was preceded by an informative presentation by Bovis Lend Lease of its next phase of development in
Victoria Harbour.

After welcoming the attendees and thanking the previous committee members for their great work, the President, Roger Gardner, provided a summary of the year�s activities and achievements including the launch of the new website. He said the focus as provided for in the DCA mission statement would continue
to be on providing social activities and on taking up local community issues
on behalf of residents.

The President referred to the Plan for the Second Decade of Docklands released jointly by the State Government, VicUrban and the City of Melbourne, saying this includes the welcome provision of a number of long awaited infrastructure projects, for which however, no specific time frames are yet available. Members will be kept informed of developments.
