It was a great honour for 3008 Docklands Magazine to be invited recently as part of a very distinguished guest list of Docklands who’s who, for the Creativity Australia luncheon hosted by Medibank and Tania de Jong, Founder and Chair Creativity Australia and Creative Universe.
Creativity Australia in association with Medibank hopes to unite and help build social capital and wellbeing throughout the Docklands Precinct through their Heart of Docklands project. The aim of the luncheon was to introduce and discuss the concept and to voice and hear opinions to further enhance Docklands as a great destination to live and work in as well as visit.
The concept was very well received with many attendees stating their interest to become further involved and in working together. Some interesting ideas were brought to the table for consideration especially as we embark into the second decade of Docklands development.
We will bring you more about this project as developments transpire, 3008 is extremely proud to have been invited as part of the founding discussions into this great venture, we have expressed our willingness to continue our involvement and work with the major stakeholders to realise the great outcomes that are possible.
In the meantime, an incredible conference event unlike any event that has occurred in the Southern Hemisphere is scheduled for this September and you may be well advised to book your place early.
The Creative Innovation 2010 Conference will push the boundaries and inspire participants to re-invent the future and solve personal, organisational, community and global challenges through increased capability for creativity and innovation which is more important than ever in the 21st Century.
Creative Innovation 2010 is the place to learn from world changing innovators, futurists, inspired thinkers and curious souls gathered together in an interactive community. It’s a place to learn techniques and strategies to unlock and share ideas and gain empowering experiences...
