City of Melbourne Presents City Gifts

City Gifts, an exhibition showcasing approximately 130 gifts from 29 countries received and collected by the City of Melbourne since the nineteenth century.

The exhibition showcases a dynamic assemblage of gifts including objects from a queen and a president; City Gifts not only shares the enormous variety and beauty of these objects but also interprets them to illustrate how international gift exchange with Melbourne has resulted in very real benefits to the people of Melbourne.
