In a meeting held on Tuesday 13th of September, City of Melbourne Councillors
voted in favour of keeping the Melbourne City Tourist Shuttle a free service. This
decision is welcome news for local Docklands and city businesses that feared
that they would lose visitors that use the free tourist shuttle, which could have dire affects on traders if the introduction of a $5 daily fare was implemented.

Early last month MAB Corporation released the Master Plan for the creation of NewQuay Central in Docklands.
The Master Plan proposes the redevelopment of ING Waterfront City land between Docklands Drive and NewQuay Promenade on Victoria Harbour which adjoins MAB's existing NewQuay precinct. MAB purchased the sites from ING in an off-market transaction.

The Glacierium, the iconic St Moritz on St Kilda Esplanade and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl conversion into a partially outdoor ice skating rink prior to its closure in 1998 for the Bowl’s renovation.
